About Hidegrid

A small team building a private vault that does not need to know who you are.

Hidegrid is developed by Synfiniq Systems Private Limited. It is an iPhone and iPad app that encrypts photos, videos and files on the device and unlocks with a pattern. We do not run accounts and do not hold user keys or files.

Why we built it

Phones hold our most personal pictures and documents, but many vault apps ask for an email address, show ads, or say little about how they encrypt.

We wanted the opposite: no account, a published encryption design, and a lock that is quick to use. The pattern you draw is the key itself.

Our principles

We say exactly how the encryption works.

We collect as little as possible. See the privacy policy.

We are honest about limits and compare fairly with other apps.
