Privacy policy

This policy explains what data the Hidegrid app and the hidegrid.com website handle. Short version: we cannot see your vaults, and we do not ask who you are.

1. Who we are

Hidegrid is provided by Synfiniq Systems Private Limited, Canada ("we"). Contact: privacy@hidegrid.com.

2. The Hidegrid app

Your photos, videos, files, file names, folder names, pattern, recovery phrase and keys stay on your device, or in your own iCloud in encrypted form if you turn on backup or sync. We never receive them.

The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email or phone number.

The app asks for access to Photos, Camera and Microphone only when you use features that need them. You can change this in iOS Settings at any time.

The Hidegrid app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code and sends no usage data to us. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports.

3. Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase is valid, but not your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to that processing.

4. iCloud

If you turn on backup or sync, encrypted data is stored in your iCloud account by Apple. Apple cannot read the contents without your key. Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to iCloud.

5. This website

The website does not use cookies for tracking and does not show ads.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not use analytics.

6. Emails to support

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply. We delete support emails when they are no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Because we hold almost none, most requests concern support emails. Write to privacy@hidegrid.com.

8. Children

Hidegrid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
